Caversham Centre for Artists and Writers hosts Residencies for local and international artists, writers and educators and undertakes local community collaboration projects. Situated at Caversham in the breathtaking Midlands of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa, Caversham operates from unique buildings providing comfortable accommodation in spacious, peaceful surroundings. Its professional printmaking studio and facilities of international standards are housed within an 1878 Wesleyan Methodist Chapel building. Programmes are offered under the mentorship of experienced collaborative printmaker and CEO Malcolm Christian, programmes manager and community coordinator Witty Nyide, full-time administrator Jabu Mtheku and Jill Sachs as the early childhood specialist. |
